- 1/2 cup mochiko (glutinous rice flour)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1.5-2 tablespoons of sugar (or however much to taste)
- Cornstarch
- Bowl
- Plate/Cutting board
- Spoon

Hachimaki Workshop - Saturday, April 10th @ 12:00 pm
Materials:
- 2 strips of thin fabric (each about 3.5” wide and 2 yards long)
- 4 paper clips OR 2 rubber bands/hair ties OR a sewing kit
- Flat iron or iron
- Heavy object or binder to keep the hachimaki in place

- Get creative with any brush at home! This could be hair ties, sponge tips, your finger, etc
- Ink
- Acrylic, watercolor
- Or get creative with wine, coffee, soy sauce, and more!
Tamagoyaki Workshop - Sunday, April 11th @ 11:00 am

- 3 eggs
- Sugar
- Salt
- Vegetable oil
- Soy sauce
- Two bowls (one small, one medium)
- Non stick pan
- Chopsticks/spatula
- Optional add-ins: seaweed, furikake, etc.
Taiko Lesson - Sunday, April 11th @ 11:30 am
- Enough space to stand, spread your legs, and swing your arms around with about two feet to spare.
- Your own bachi (taiko sticks) OR homemade ones (rolling up old magazines/newspapers)
- Your own taiko (haha, most of us don’t have them with us, nor can we play them at home, so we do not expect this from you at all!) OR a homemade one (a chair with a folded blanket or pillow will do! Tip: Tie it down so it won’t move as you hit!)
