2022 Charity Fundraiser
My Sister's House & Changing Tides
The 2022 Davis Cherry Blossom Festival will be fundraising for two wonderful non-profit organizations through donations and a portion of the beer sales made throughout the festival:
My Sister's House is a non-profit which aims to serve Asian and Pacific Islander and other underserved women and children impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking by providing a culturally appropriate and responsive safe haven, job training, and community services.
Changing Tides is a non-profit focused on ending the stigma surrounding mental health in the Asian American community. The organization offers counseling services and raises awareness to promote conversation in the face of mental health adversity.

STOP ASIAN HATE.
Amidst the rise in violence directed at Asian Americans over the past year, and in the wake of the racialized murders of Asian women in Georgia on March 16th 2021, the Davis Cherry Blossom Festival team expresses grief and calls for all members of our community to help bring about awareness and change.
